Have a bash of this version, it should read a little better and clearly spells out their shortcomings.....

I thought you'd gone for a kip woman!:rotfl:
Good Luck, i'll hear from you again - I expect Lloyds to be silly about this but we can beat them, its just a tedious and boring process.2010 - year of the troll

Couldn't sleep - I got too excited at the thought of actually getting somewhere with your help NID!
Am onto another Lloyds problem now, any chance you fancy reading this thread, please, albeit a rather long one?!

Morning Di
Yes really! The account has to be actually defaulted first which means at least 31 days late (i.e. to miss a payment) then they have to issue a default notice which gives at least 14 days to remedy the breach (i.e. pay the arrears) - so in total this is actually 45 days MINIMUM prior to them being able to default you.
If you find that they issued a default notice (i.e. an actual default registered with the CRA's) and the account was not a whole month in arrears AT LEAST, then you can get the default wiped.2010 - year of the troll

Morning - i've replied but only to confirm what George has already advised - however i've also asked for clarity on the default question so if I get a chance later today i'll dig around and read the 2006 amendments and see what is happening.2010 - year of the troll

I have recently re-assessed my finances since finishing university and have decided now is the time to get my money back in order, however I have noticed a issue on my credit report.
A nationwide account I held until recently shows a level 4 late payment on my credit report, which is no doubt not going to help my credit rating one bit! It appeared after a nationwide overdraft got reduced from £500 to £250 overnight, with the only warning coming after it was put in place and the bank demanding I needed to bring my balance under the new level. Following a struggle to pay it off, I now have this on my credit report.
I have read many places that people have successfully got it removed from their report, in conjunction with all the charges they recieved during this period. I am less concerned with the charges, but the credit rating is really going to effect me if I want to do anything in the next 6 years!
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?!
I know it may seem like a minor issue, considering the maount of money it is over, but like people say, a credit report doesn't give details, a late payment is a late payment!
This one is about one particular person's problem and if they come back with further information or need more help, your problem in the midst of this is not going to be helpful.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Hi guys!
I'm getting myself all into a quandrary, lol! But I must apologise as I do not wish to create confusion, and I worry I may now be SERIOUSLY annoying some highly regarded members of the forum. I appear to have a few threads relating to Lloyds and have been a right prat in starting new ones
I sent Lloyds the letter NID provided, and they never replied that they'd reply within 4 weeks! That's up on 2 August. I have been sending relevant info to the FOS as I complained to them regarding Lloyds ignoring of my bank charges complaint and lack of help. I've mentioned the default on my CR and with lots of time & patience from Premier, I have got the wording I needed and am sending the FOS a new set of documents with a letter.
This isn't much of an update I'm afraid. But I guess I need to ask the Mods to merge my threads for me or something? I am sooo sorry for being so silly. I can't wait to get my brain back when this baby's born! Can anyone help in the merging of any Lloyds-related threads I have please?
Sorry againI've got nothing else but I've got my family.
