I dont know why you have insinuated that this is spam. It is a genuine post about a short term (2weeks only) offer at a price of just over 1/3 of some other retailers. If you want the product then it is a good post if you don't then ignore it.

If you are trying to link me to makro I can assure you that i have no links to the company. In fact I don't really like the place but they do from time to time have good offers. My comments about entrance to Makro and avoiding wasted journeys were in direct response to two other posts.

If people like you are going to rubbish other peoples genuine well meant post you may put people off from posting good deals with the obvious consequences.

Sorry to butt in but I think I can explain what happened here. I noticed that someone had put a spam post on - trying to get you to click through to some other site (probably around midnight; it was also in some other posts) It has obviously been removed, but not before chalkysoil had posted the email saying it was spam.

Hope that's understandable and everyone's happy again!
  • Thanks barter.

I am now red faced and will slap myself on the wrist and apologise to chalysoil

You are supposed to be a trader and show invoices to prove it. So if you work in a small firm you can ask the boss, self employed no problem as you will have some invoices/letterheads etc. But nearly everyone knows someone with a card.

I wonder how it can be "wholesale" when they have fitting rooms to try the clothes on.

Unlike Costco once accepted there is no fee to pay.

What you need to shop at Makro:

    REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS required: http://www.makro.co.uk/servlet/PB/menu/1073034/index.html

    Companies/Organisations
    (1) V.A.T. Certificate of incorporation from Companies House or copy of business bank account statement.
    (2) Two recent purchase Invoices over the value of £50 each.
    (3) Personal Photographic I.D of the cardholder.

    Self-Employed
    (1) Recent correspondence from HMRC (Inland Revenue) or a copy of a recent business tax assessment.
    (2) Two recent purchase invoices over the value of £50 each.
    (3) Personal Photographic I.D of the cardholder.

(Please send photocopies only, as we cannot return all your documentation)
*Applicants are only accepted on documentary evidence above.

The likes of me, a Joe Shmoe, can't shop there, as I don't have any of the above docs and wouldn't want to fake it. But they seem fairly cheap.

  • :bdaycake: and :spam: are sold at Makro :rotfl:
If anybody wants one of these and they ain't got a Card let me know and I may be able to get one for you, as long as you cover the P&P and pay for it. Even with P&P they are cheap as chips

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago from JLM website, i wouldn't be without it, I don't think i will ever use my normal oven again. The one i got was more expensive but i bought it at half the usual price so wasn't too bad, i got the enlarger ring, cookbook, tongs etc with mine too included in the price as these are usually priced and bought separately. If the one at Makro has everything with it and it is the full size one then it is a bargain.
