Help With Provident Loan

Hey Guys,
I took out a cash loan from greenwood finance in April, I missed a few payments which i explained to my agent and he was fine about it, However, I got in touch with him to come and collect my outstanding amount that i owe which was £30, This would put me upto date with the loan, he collected it on the 16th june, however i have recived a letter which was sent out on the 18th June explaining that i am £30 in arrears with greenwood finance, and that if i fail to pay this then i will be reported to the credit agencys, Which would ruin my good history of payments that i have on other accounts (never missed a payment on my phonebill, Current account, Overdraft) and im update on them, Im more worried about the fact that i've been robbed £30 Because i havent had an official receipt off them, and i recived another letter last week saying that they are reporting me to the credit agencys, He has also failed to collect two payments in the last two weeks, Putting me behind again, and if he hasent reported the payment i made to greenwood then this would make them think that i am not paying it, This also means that they have broken there contract to me the borrower, Im phoning them in the daytime today to hopefully find out whats going on, however if my payment hasent been recorded then i will go to the police as i belive this is theft, And i will also report there company to trading standards, What im asking for is advice on how to approach this situation when i talk to them later ? And advice on where i stand in this ? Should i really condsider reporting the loan agent to the police if he hasent notifed them of payment ?
Thanks
Kindest Regards
Michael

Firstly Greenwood are not Provident afaik.
Do you not have a payment book that gets filled in every week? I would personally phone the number of the local office/head office and tell them about the agent.
Strangely enough they do get rogue agents from time to time. I have had 2 with Provident. When they are wandering around with several thousand pounds of cash in their pockets week in week out, the temptation for some is too much.
Make that phone call, get it sorted.
Oh, and in future, pay the agent by cheque. That's what I do.Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.0
