What are you putting in your keepsake box?

If you are having one!

So far I don't have a box but have started putting things away to put into it, we're not having a huge wedding but I've got/having the following things for the box:

the grooms buttonhole pressed
some of our table confetti
the receipts for our rings/meal/ceremony
the ceremony booklet
CD from the ceremony
menu from our meal
hen night balloon and badge (!)
Newspapers from the day
Possibly one of our chocolate wedding favours (not sure if it's gross to keep this or not!)

Can anyone think of anything else? I searched for a thread and couldn't find one

i have in mine already our engagement cards, and the wedding acceptance cards will go in there, and a copy of our invitation, and order of the day. will probably also pick up our name tags, copies of readings and speeches too.

I really like the thought of these. i having been looking on the internet for them- and it seems they rang from cheap to very very expensive!
things i would put in are:
    engagement cards
cut out from magazines of things i like
    order of service
    rspv cards
    leafets from the reception venue
notes that i have made from talking to reception venues
    contracts from churchs/reception/dj etc
    some confeti from the day
    my garter
    copy of invites
maybe a few of the pictures
hen party left overs- such as feather bow, badge etc
    place cards
    a 'not blown up' balloon
a copy of the thank you cards i will send people
    and my congrats wedding cards

wow just realised i am going to need a big box lol

We wont have a lot of that stuff as we didn't officially get engaged! So no engagement cards, haven't sent wedding invites so wont get RSVP cards, as it's immedaite family only. The wedding cards is a good idea tho hadn't thought of that! I wanted some things as well from "now" if that makes sense i.e. the newspapers, think I will send dad out shopping on that day and keep his receipt lol, any other ideas on this area?

The cake topper if you're having one? Flower(s) from your bouquet?

Really like this idea but think OH will kill me before we're even married if he finds out I'm planning on storing yet another box of random sentimental crap in the house!
