I haven't done very much this week as its been chaos here - Weds night DD had a tummy upset so was off school Thurs, then Thurs lunchtime school phoned as DS was unwell, then had both of them at home, Friday we decided that we really couldn't afford to keep 2 cars running so was busy sorting out tax, insurance etc, postman came with a letter offering us an allotment so then sorted that out, kiddies were feeling better so we spent a couple of hours in the evening at said very overgrown allotment, Saturday had to get kiddies to meet up with Ex KH, left them with him and then I caught a bus for the first time in 25 years, it went a different way to where I thought it was going so got off a few miles from home and then had a short wait till I caught another home [my fault entirely and next time I'll ping the pinger thingy in time!!] then I felt ill so spent the afternoon dozing on the sofa and today.......... radiator in the hall started leaking so I'm busy mopping up every couple of hours - plumber booked for tomorrow as its the valve thats gone so any money saved from not having a 2nd car may go to him as I'm sure its not covered on the plumbing insurance I have oh and last night vile next door neighbours partied out the back till midnight so aswell as plumber visit, warm front man visiting and any other stuff I need to do I also have to phone the Landlord for next door and register yet another complaint. Whinge over

Jo - many happy returns for today and I hope you had a lovely birthday

Flitting through...I am really ready for the end of term now, and it's another three weeks to go....

My new washing machine arrived safely on Friday, and has been thoroughly tested. Fortunate that the weather was also good! As soon as one lot dried, another went straight on the line. Thank you for all the advice ladies, much appreciated.

I haven't done much else in the house, except the usual, and a blitz on the clutter. Bit of gardening, a lot of unwinding, and some jam making this afternoon! Gooseberry. Yum. Mustn't eat too much of it - must lose some weight!

Need to finish planning for this week.

    :bdaycake:Happy birthday xxJoxx!:bdaycake:

pigpen - your DD is beautiful - and I loved the photo of all the family.

Love and hugs to all, and especially toots, lady-liberty and diva.
