Fitflops alternative

I have been looking at fitflops as I think they would be good for walking to work in, but as someone who has never spent more than £20 on a pair of shoes I am a bit unsure about spending so much on shoes (if I was going to spend that much it would be on something beautiful!)
Does anyone know of any cheap alternatives that work as well?
Thanks

There are some cheap no name knock offs on Ebay for £16

Both Sketchers and Avon do their own cheaper versions. Can't comment on comfort or if they do anything as I have only ever seen the pictures.0

I have the Avon ones. They are fabulously comfortable but after 3 weeks occasional wear they are coming apart at the sides and have become less well fitting. I will probably start looking at the real thing on the weekend as I do love the comfortable sole but the quality is not great on mine.0
