Get a dubit card for the kids. you can get 2 for 1 at vue cinemas and 10% at pizza hut etc. My little bro is 13 and he uses it when he goes out with his friends.

This looks great, my kids will be over the moon are there any catches?? i.e. does an adult have to go to the cinema also and pay full price?

Surely anyone can change the date on those vouchers at time of print - its a massive text field.

I used these at the weekend for four of us to go and see Cars.
THe girl didnt even bat an eyelid, just accepted them and gave us reduced price admission.

Although I was shocked at how expensive it was-even with the discount it was £20.60!!

Vue actually do a discount voucher - when you go and see a full price film they're supposed to give you vouchers for £1.50 off the next film you go and see within two weeks (you have to buy your tickets at the box office or food counter though, not the self-serve machines). If you don't get them - ask - they usually have a stack on the till, but often forget.

And one more thing - they write the date on the ticket, and you can't use it on that day - so if there were 4 of you, you couldn't buy two tickets then give the discounted tickets to the other 2.
