Leave in conditioner

Does anyone prefer leave in conditioner to rinse out? I was wondering if it would be better for my fine hair and give it more volume.

I used to use it years ago and found it quite good but didnt make my hair any different. I only stopped using it because I changed to a colour conditioner.0

I have fine hair and use both. I have a Giovanni leave in one that you need only a tiny, tiny amount, about half of a 5 pence sized blob!
Rub it between your fingers, finger comb your hair, then comb through with a wide tooth comb and style as normal.
The bottle will last forever as you use so little ( maybe two years?) it costs about £8.
I even put a tea spoon sized blob into a small spray bottle, added water and used it that way, works very well and this will make the bottle last even longer!!!!!!!
Go steady first, less is more, you can always add more but you can't take it out if you overdo it ( unless you re-wash your hair).
I think it makes my hair more managable, not sure if it increases volume. I think things specifically made to increase volume can have a tendency to make your hair feel tacky. All depends on what you want and what you are willing to put up with!0 -
Hi, I use it regularly. Some I've tried leave my hair greasy after a day but am using a volumising one by Tigi at the moment which works for me. I don't know if leave in is better than wash out though.0

Better then a wash out? I use both- I always thought you were supposed to use both!0

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance is really good for fine hair because it's a spray one so you don't need to worry about loading your hair down with product, plus it smells delish! I use this instead of conditioner, although I try and do one or 2 washes with both normal conditioner and leave-in per month.Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.0

I use both. I like Vitapointe, I use a tiny amount on my dry ends. An old fashioned cheap product that really suits my hair.0

Hi, I fancy using a spray in conditioner as it will probably not be as heavy as a cream leave in one. I do use the conditioner that comes with my hair colour until it runs out and then I use a one for dry hair (Simple). I could get a spray one and use the colour one inbetween. I notice Aussie have two spray ones – is the ordinary one better or the coloured hair one? My hair is so greasy and lank at the moment I need something thats not going to weight it down.0
