I was wonderring where to get a cheap playstation 3 slim 250gb from. I have been looking around and found it new for £196.29 on qtechworld.com. Is this a good deal and is this company legit. Are there any better deals about?

You won’t get a ps3 for less than £280 at the moment; £189 is currently way too cheap for a 250gb ps3. Don’t touch the website you’ve mention as it looks dodgy.0

Assuming you're not just here to promote a dodgy site (apologies if you're not), but you'd have to be mad to give them any details, whether it's your name, address or god forbid credit card details.
Registering is a joke, there are no secure pages (https) and try to put their postcode into the Post Office address finder. There is no No. 20.
The fact the prices are so rediculously low should instantly put up warning flags.
Everyone should stay well clear.Dave. :wave:0 -

I thought that but also thought I'd give the OP the benefit of the doubt as it appeared to be a fairly reasonable query. Did check OPs other posts as well before posting.Phantom_Flan_Flinger wrote: »There is no No. 20
Google maps will also show that there is no No 20.0 -
The website was only registered on the 1st of April to a bloke in California.

Odd then that his registered address is in Holborn, London, England.0

This has scam written all over it.
In the 'about' page, it references itself as QTechWorld LTD but this is nowhere to be seen on the Companies House register, which maintains the list of legally registered limited companies.
The very low prices should be enough of a clue that something is off. Ironically the domain was registered on 1st of April 2010 -- April fools? not really too funny though, because it is potentially a criminal setup and people could lose out. The site doesn't have any presence on the web or any significant references to it from other legitimate sites, so I am curious to know how the original poster came across this site and offer in the first place.Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.

I found this website when searching for prices for a camcorder - it comes up on Google products list of prices, so it does come up on legitimate sites. When I went on it, it just didn't 'feel' right, very basic sight and something just put me on my guard so I came to MSE to see what everyone else had to say about it! Will now stay away
Would have liked the camera for £25 cheaper though!! 0
