    £30, £40 or £50???
Fifty pounds???? FIFTY pounds? Fifty POUNDS?

For boxes stacked on top of each other?

What are they for, anyway? Looking at the wbesite, it seems to be that guests put their wedding cards in them.... Why? What's wrong with opening them and putting them on display somewhere? Or, if you want the unopened cards sitting in a box all day, make one. They're designed to look like gift boxes - so how hard could it be to knock one up?

    Hmmm

    Must be my age.

I agree £50 is a bit of a ripoff! But the idea of a postbox is for those who want to give cash or vouchers rather than gifts, I think - so they can give them anonymously or in a card if they prefer. I like the idea, but for that price I would make one myself! :)

I agree... they are lovely, but such a rip-off!! It would be so easy to make yourself... just get some gift boxes, stack them and decorate them!!!

its so they are safe i think as someone has mentioned before if theres a stack of cards on a table somewhere its really easy to walk off with one and no one woud none the wiser and it could contain alot of money!

umm two adult shoe boxes, one kids shoe box (ring and get them free from clarks if u dont have any!) wrap them up with some nice wrapping paper, stick them together, stanley knife, hole in top of middle box, stick on pretty ribbon etc and you're done.... job done = about £8 at most!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

I think post boxes are a great idea - we got a lot of cards containing cash, and tere was no way I had time to open them and note down what was inside then put away safely.

I made our own box - cream cardboard one for a few pounds, organza ribbon and a gold card with wedding details and a thank you on it.

I do like the tiered idea, it looks nice but it would be easy for any bride to make herself.

As an aside....£50 is nothing to some...a wedding forum I was on (and eventually left because there was a lot of bridezillas!) one girl was paying £250 for a postbox which looked like a red royal mail one, but personalised...madness!

I have two boxes - one tall and one chest shaped that I have never made up or even cut the slot in. they are just sitting here in the way, I may use one when I do a show but they certainly didnt cost me £50.
