Remortgages - this is the best I can find.....any advice welcome

Looking the remortgage from existing lender. Currently with Virgin One 3.65% variable, interest only.

House Value: 410k (possibly more)
Mortgage Amount: 205k
Mortgage Outstanding: 145k (overpaid/offsetting 60k)
Earnings: more than enough to cover multiples (80k combined)

Went through broker L&C who were pushing fixed rates at 4.29% with £1000 odd arr fees.

I've always (past 15yrs) had variable rates, realise rates will rise....but not so sure they'll rise that much.

Found this First Direct Repayment Mortgage

Base rate tracker +1.79% = 2.29%
Arr fee £99
Val fee £170

Is there any other lower rate trackers around?

Not as low as this.

They also do offset deals but rates not as good ( you might like the flexabilty of savings in offset account)
