I can highly recommend https://www.photobox.co.uk - They're fantastic quality prints, and with a very quick turnaround and good prices. You get also 30 free prints when you sign up.0

I echo lauraandclive's recommendation for photobox. Easy to upload, organise and share your photos, great turnaround, excellent prices and many special/gift options. All you need from an online photo supplier0

Hi all. Hope everyones well on this fine Saturday! I have a question for y'all...
I would like to know why all these online photo services always need you to sign up to their site and 'store' your photos on their servers? I don't want to store my pictures with them. I don't wan't them holding my pictures online either. All I want to do is upload some piccys, pay them to print em' out and send em' to me - period!
Is there no-one out there that offers this? This makes me wonder why. For instance, why they need thousands and thousands of peoples pictures on their systems anyway? When you read some of the detailed terms and conditions of these sites you notice that whilst you still hold the copyright to your photos you give them permission to 'use' your images however they see fit! What's that all about?
Also, image sharing? Hmmm. If I want someone else seeing my images I will show them a copy in my hand. I'm sure for many people this service is fun and convenient so I'm not dissing it but I question these companies motives.
If anyone knows of an online company that doesn't require you to sign up and store your stuff then I'd be grateful if you'd share the info.
Thanks for reading, guys 'n' gals. :wave:0 -
If you do not want an online service keeping a hold of your photos, then you can get thm printed in person at Tesco/Boots/Asda/etc. Should be a bit quicker as well.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Thanks V.much RightRevBod.
I have tried the machines in shops. Boots want 49p per 6x4 picture (way too expensive!) but they are good quality and fast. Went to the city to Asda who were cheaper but never got to print any out as one machine was out of order and the other; when I eventually got to use it; had such a large amount of orders backed up that I got told I'd have to pick up the pictures next day! Damn! Didn't think it very cost effective to drive fifty miles round trip to pick up about five pounds worth of piccys!
Ho-hum. Local tesco shop has got a machine but A) I have never seen it working yet - it always has an "out of order" sign on it!
Have seen people on here before say the quality is poo as they use inferior ink and paper. I may give em' a try if it's ever up and running though! :rotfl:

PHOTOBOX!
Stunning quality and fast service.
TIP: Always check their website in the last few days of the month as they often run BOGOF promotions for a few days.
