brown circles on knees

i have noticed over last 6 months brown circles on my knees and also just below on top of my leg. they look like bruising but are not, now that summer is here i want to wear skirts dresses and shorts but these brown circles look ugly, does anyone know what they are and how i can get rid of these,they are about the size of a 50p thanks

probably caused by going down on all fours regularly !!!!!!!!!!! (iykwim?!!!!!!)

how about regularly using a body scrub on the knees and you can get these emery board type mitts - think they are called silky mitts, 99p for 3, and you exfoliate the skin gently. mainly used to remove hair but smooths the skin nicely. and you could apply a foot lotion on the knees to soften the skin overnight too.

This sounds worse than it is but I would suggest you go to the docs and get them checked, they probably are just pigmentation but a friend of mine had something very similar to what you have described and it was a fungal infection, it was easily sorted with antibiotics - best of luck:)
