Need to make some money for a Morocco Expedition?

Hi, so this may seem a bit out of place amongst all you adults talking about mortgages and whatnot, but I am 15 years old and I am going on a World Challenge Expedition to Morocco in July next year, but I need to make about £2000 (1000+extra to be on the safe side) and that means i need to make £45 a week. What would be the best way to do this? I still go to school, and my 16th is in may next year so that doesnt help much. If it helps, I am pretty good at selling on ebay but have nothing to sell, i can wash/vacuum cars, mow lawns etc. but I dont know how to start? Should i just go up to peoples doors?

Also, how much on average does leafletting pay? I will ask a shop sooner or later, but until then can anyone give me a rough idea?

Thanks

The schools do this every year, there are always people at checkouts helping to pack bags.

Is there a local hospice/old people's home etc who have an annual fete? You could get all the challengers together to put up a stall. OR come up with some amusing and brilliant idea to get sponsors and do the deed at the fete to get maximum coverage. Gosh, is this making sense? You know the thing, local celebrity (teacher at your school) who has always had a beard have it shaved off. Get the principal and/or all heads of departments to agree to wet sponges being thrown at him/them on the last day of term?

If you can come up with something that hasn't been done before I'm sure you'd get a much better response, difficult, I know.

Good luck in your endeavours and when they've all been successful, have a great time in Morocco

You could do door to door, and ask local newsagents/etc if you can put a card in the window advertising your services.

How about dog walking, would you fancy doing that?
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

How about organising a fund raising event and people could buy tickets to attend.

Organize a raffel, sell tickets and get people to sponsor the prizes, you don't need expensive prizes, just make sure they are nice desirable things like chocolates, teddy bears, cosmetics.

    Ask you teachers for help.

I love Morocco, I'm hoping to go again some time:)

My 15 year old son went on World Challenge to India/Himalayas on Sunday, we raised just over £2,000. We printed of sheets, no 000 - 999 and whoever had their name in the space that held the last 3 digits of £100 note won it, say a note serial number is 9999344555 then the person with their name in 555 won it, it was £1 per go and potentially you can make £900.

We had a ceilidh £900. Bought some football cards of ebay, 25 spaces £1 per go and winning team scratched off won £10 only £15 profit but friends and relatives took some to work.

He did some bag packing raised £120 per day doing this but you need to book now for next year, its very popular, hope this helps a bit and just ENJOY whatever you choose.
