Claim bank charges back after the account has closed?

Not sure if this is the right place but I have a quick question about reclaiming bank charges. Can you still claim back from a bank that has closed your account? Barclays closed my account last year when I was struggling to pay back back my overdraft. However I am still dealing with them as I still owe £2900 on the overdraft. Can I still claim back the old bank charges that I am sure make up most of my overdraft!?

    I am claiming against accounts that are closed.

    As long as the charges aren't going back futher than 6 years, you should be fine claiming them back.
