Time for a little light relief from political arguments

I know that it`s difficult for people on this board to have a civilised discussion about politics.

So here`s a little tune to lighten the debate.

The lyrics are pretty hot,but i am really taken by the backbeat.

PEACE.

That's pretty rich, coming from one of this forum's most notorious Labour bunkerbots.

Sure, but in 1983. Depeche Mode were saying the same thing in a more 'sing-a-long' kind of way about 'bankers, big business and 'perks'...

    "The grabbing hands
    Grab all they can
    All for themselves
    After all

    It's a competitive world
    Everything counts in large amounts

    The graph on the wall
Tells the story, of it all
Picture it now, See just how
    The lies and deceit
    Gained a little more power..
    Confidence, Taken in
    By a sun tan
    And a grin

    The grabbing hands
    Grab all they can
    All for themselves
    After all

    It's a competitive world
Everything counts in large amounts "

    Nothing changes much eh !
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Correct but far too real for the Tories on here.

Bizets Carmen does it for me sorry if it is a commoners opera.

But the last performance I attended at the Prague State opera house left me breathless.

Oh I envy you so much... it must have been brilliant.
The only opera I've attended was Madam butterfly many, many years ago.. I don't get out much so I can't go to the opera but I have really enjoyed the BBC series about opera
