hi all. bit of an embarrasing one. since becoming pregnant ive developed a really hairy belly(not dark hairs THANK GOD) but just lots and lots of blonde ones. has anyone experienced this, and if so did they fall out after baby is born? i cant imagine having to go and get my belly waxed  but this is seriously getting me down!!

If being hairy, sweaty, waddling around with stretch marks looking like a motorway network and feet looking like they were freshly inflated that morning is a thing of beauty then I was an absolute goddess during mine :rotfl:0 -
Hi, i heard it was the hormones during pregnancy that stop the hair falling out but it should fall out after birth

I had this, it's really common.
My sister is a beauty therapist so she waxed it off for me!Most things in life are beyond our control, for everything else there is a spreadsheet
son#1 born 04/01/09
son#2 born 20/08/11

And of course after you've given birth there's the joy of hobbling round carefully if you've had stitches...being interrogated (and getting strangely proud and excited) about doing a poo...having these football sized rocks appearing on your chest about 3 days later....and then there's having to live in old baggy shirts that won't get ruined by leaking nipples or baby puke. It's a miracle we ever have more than one child0

Hi I had this with my 1st (my son) I then thought it was odd I didn't really get a hairy bump with 2nd. While pregnant with her (I didn't know I was having a girl but I had felt like I wad carrying a girl but don't know how) I read somewhere that an old wives tale is that a hairy tummy means you are having a boy! It was true in my case!! Strange!? Maybe the different hormones??
So did the rest of you go on to have boys after your hairy tum appeared?SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0
