debt owed for a friend. if he pays this off then he will be considered default but partly satisfied. i said if he paid all the amount which is considerably more then it will still be the same. i dont see the logic!
he may not have the money for all the lump sum either as he has been ill but did not want to sign on sick. he suggested some amounts initially until he can get himself back on track.
