Can you use this as a telly if you get the right box to go with it?

    Or would that be silly?
  • Does it have DVI? or just VGA connection?

    The specs only mention VGA.

I bought one of http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?quicklinx=446N last week and have it running on DVi, it's bloody lovely, 5ms responce and the Contrast Ratio os 700:1

I added a DVi cable at £4.99, so it came to £141 delivered. You cannot go wrong.

No - this is a computer monitor, NOT a TV.

Yeah, I think you're right about VGA only, UNLESS
    Input Terminal 15pin D-Sub
    means DVI? I don't know.

Anway, that Dabs one you've got looks the nutts. AND its seems to be £136.97 now, inc vat, delivery, and dvi cable.

Or £105 ish inc Del + VAT at Amazon: see this post:

Don't really know mate. I BELIEVE that it is possible to hook up a TV tuner to a monitor like this, and get a damn fine pic, but I'm no expert. I think there might be a thread over on the Techie Stuff Forum of MSE. If there's not, start one, I'd be interested to know too. Maybe you can post back here.

    Does DABS do Quidco?

Extract from Quidco details for Ebuyer:-

Please read the following before proceeding:

    Yes you can...

However, the native resolution of the screen mentioned in this thread is higher than the tuner box can output, so the picture won't be quite as crisp as it could be. Oh yeah, the built in audio speaker is woefully small and tinny, but the tuner box has an audio output connector so you can feed the signal into better speakers, such as these...
