Pharmaceutical sales rep shadowing

Hi,
I want to go into either pharmaceutical sales or similar scientific instrument sales. I want to get some experience shadowing a sales rep, but not having much luck finding them as the NHS medical centres do not get their drugs directly from them.
I'm going to speak to some pharmacists tomorrow and see how that goes, but does anyone know how else I could get in touch with any sales reps?
