Trouble from Citi Group

One of my debts is with Citi Card ( formerly The Associates Card). In 2004 I offered them a settlemet figure to clear the balance. After 2 months they sent me a letter accepting my offer. I wrote back requesting a proper letter of acceptance stating that no further payments by themselves or any third party would be sought. I also stated that due to their acceptance I would be ceasing all future payments as per the arrangement we had. Only the settlement figure would be forth coming. For about two months I heard nothing then I received a letter stating that they would not accept my offer. After several letters of complaint trying to get them to honour their acceptance, ( no money had changed hands) I put it into the hands of the Financial Ombudsman service who ruled that whilst they could not force Citi Group to honour the acceptance, they awarded me compensation for Citi cards failure to answer my letters etc.
My arrangement recommenced in June 2005 after I rang back to a message that had been left with my wife. ( I was unaware who I was telephoning at the time other than a woman called Ann). I asked for a letter of confirmation of the arrangement details starting again, which were not forth coming. After a couple of letters I finally received a response which stated the arrangement was for 12 months after which my situation would be reveiwed. This contravened what had been agreed upon as the original arrangement was to run till the debt was paid.
Interest was charged each month which I complained about and was duly removed only to keep appearing each month on my statements.
Last Tuesday I received a phone call from citi card stating the arrangment had finished and I must increase my payments to 3% of balance to continue the arrangement.
I've just written a very strong letter to their Cheif Executive Officer, demanding everything be put right in my favour or I will be reporting them. Now just have to wait and see what the reply will be. Any body want to place some bets?
