Leg waxing

How much does it hurt? (I do have my eyebrows waxed already so use that as a kind of reference if possible) Also bikini waxing - but not sure if I'm brave enough for that yet

And to make this money saving related, long term with lack of razors does it work out cheaper

havent had my legs waxed although i do get my bikini line done. all i can say is GO FOR IT. you'll never look back. i dont get it all off (not brave enough yet lol) but i get most of the top off, then the sides taken in really far.

i try and remember to take 2 paracetomal beforehand, but i dont know how much difference it makes because even without the painkillers its a totally bareable pain. actually i wouldnt even call it a pain, its more like a quick sting(like getting your eyebrows done) and thats it. ask some of your female friends for a recommendation if you can. the girl i go to is soooo quick she is amazing. its all done in like 5 mins.

and its true about the more times u go the easier it gets. the hairs grow back so so fine so its easier to get them out. hope this helps.

First time hurts but it's brief - think of whipping off a plaster. You rapidly get used to it though.

It isn't cheap though - you may need it done every 3/4 weeks. The MSE version is an epilator on which topic there are many current threads.
  • I had my legs waxed for my hols last year and I don't think I can bring myself to have it done again. Even with painkillers in advance it was horrible. It didn't get all the hairs so I still had to shave anyway. I'll stick to my Venus Breeze razor. Sorry I can't be more positive!

Stings, doesn't hurt. Over in a few seconds and all done. Very much worth it!
