Equita Bailiffs please advise

I had an arrangement with Equita to pay off a debt of of £850, we now only owe £320 but following a missed payment, they have now passed the debt on to their bailiffs. Luckily we weren't in when he originally called round but he did put a letter through our door telling us that he had been round. He levied on my sisters car which was parked on the drive. He also added a fee of £192 including VAT to the original amount.
I had called Equita that day and they had said they could no longer do anything about it as it had been passed across and they were just the call centre.
I have written a letter based on some of the templates on here stating that I wanted a break down of the fees, that I would only correspond in writing to them and that I would not answer the door to anybody who came round. We just wanted to set up another payment plan.
They have sent a letter back today stating that they would not set up another plan for us and that the bailiff in charge (i know his name if that helps) should be contacted and he would be round to levy goods from us within 2 weeks. They added that in some cases they could remove goods without us being present. They also have not given us a breakdown of the costs as we had originally asked.
Could anyone please advise us on what we should do next. I will write another letter back to them to again ask for the breakdown of where this £192 comes from as I'm sure they can only charge £45 for the first visit.
Also how many times are they likely to come round if they can only charge for 2 visits, as I've read somewhere.
Thanks to anyone who can advise me on what to do next.

Hopefully one of the experts will be along soon. You could try bailiffadvice online or try calling them but I believe you have to pay.
You could also try calling National Debtline if no-one can help but I'm sure someone will be along later.
I think that the levy they think they have made is invalid as it's not your car. I'm not 100% sure though.
Good Luck trying to get it sorted.

Does your sister owe part of the money that the bailiff is chasing?
If she owes the money and owns the car, then they can charge extra for the levy on that but not for the visit.
Resend the request tfor the fee breakdown and send a pm to Herbie21.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
thanks ras,
my sister doesnt live here or owe any of the debt. she just parked here while her and my partner went out.
We're a bit concerned that if any of our friends come round when they call and their car is on the drive, can they take it even if it doesn't belong to us.
i've tried pm herbie21 but her box is full. i imagine they are very popular0
