Hi,
Firsty, Hi! And sorry if i have posted in the wrong place.
I have on my littlewoods account a total of £1910.34. I sent off for my CCA and never got a response.
Today i got a letter saying the following
"With ref to your recent letter, I can confirm that we will not be pursuing the above littlewoods account for the outstanding balance of £1910.34, This info will form part of your records at the Credit Ref Agency. this info will remain on your credit file for 6 years"
Can i ask : Can they no longer chase me for the money? Can they no longer phone me etc?
Can they keep it on my record even though it is not technically a debt anymore?
I get a bit toucy about these things and concerned i'm going to get chased still for it and it's on my records!
Thanks, Luke

It looks like your debt is not enforceable and they do not intend to pursue you for it.
Not sure if they may sell it on in the future ... if they do you could send a copy of the letter you got saying that Littlewoods will not pursue.
Technically, it is still a debt and the default will remain on your record for 6 years, it's just that they cannot force you to pay.0
