1. This prize is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, except employees of Malta Tourism Authority, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw and competition.
2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. The winner will win four night stay for two adults at the Radisson Blu Hotel St Julians on a bed and breakfast basis. The prize also includes two return flights with EasyJet from the UK, Manchester or London Gatwick Airport only (subject to availability) transfers between the hotel and the airport. The prize does not include travel insurance, personal expenditure and other incidental costs other than those mentioned. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary visas and vaccinations for their trip.
4. The winner will make available to the Malta Tourism Authority or its agents connected with this promotion the following: Travel Document Type, Travel Document Number, Issuing State, Surname, Given names, Gender, Date of Birth, Document Expiration Date and Nationality.
5. All elements of the prize are subject to availability and are non transferable. There are no cash alternatives. Winner must be one of the person/s travelling. Prize cannot be redeemed during the months of July, August and September, Easter, bank holidays, Christmas period and other school holidays. The prize must be taken by end of December 2011.
6. Names of prize winners are to be received a minimum of 5 weeks prior to the decided departure.
7. Baggage allowance is: One 20 kilo bag per person. Any sport equipment and/or extra baggage are to be purchased directly from the easyJet website.
8. Once flight arrangements are booked, you will be sent the e-tickets via e mail. It will not be possible thereafter to amend any dates or details.
9. The winner may be required to participate in publicity.
10. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
11. The Malta Tourism Authority reserves the right to withdraw any prize should it later be found out that the terms and conditions were not adhered to.

It's Times subscribers only - not those who have registered for a free account with them previously online.

I was previously registered with Times Online (for the comps !)

When the site changed, I registered on the new one. There's no way I'd have paid to do so:)!

I've been able to enter all of these without a problem, but I know some have had to persevere with the registration process.

Then what did you enter in the box that says:

Enter your CPN number

You will find your CPN printed on your Times+ membership card, which was sent to you with your welcome pack.

It's now a choice of enter your CPN number or existing email address and password. For registration you have to enter a CPN number before you can access another page to enter any other details like your email address.

just registered at the Times online... NOT timesPlus as the competition is on... then put my email and p/w into the comp page and it worked well! Thanks.

I am a paid subsciber so can enter fine but I think others may have problems.I understand that the free trial is over at the end of June ie now.This is stated on the FAQ page here
I've got to say that out of all the competitions on here MSE admin could not have picked many more that will prove as hard to enter to be featured in the weekly email.

I'm under the impression they only usually read the top post and add more information to it if they think it's necessary, with the original post just saying go to 'The Times' website they assumed it's a good competition to promote without checking any further.
