Amending credit report
Hi – I have a quick question. I’ve cleared off a debt with Sainsburys over a month ago and my credit report still hasn’t been updated. Does anyone know how I get the account status on the credit report changed to satisfied? The amount was paid in full.

Give it upto 60 days, 30 days for a new report and 30 days for sainsburys to report it.
However as it is already over a month old i would probably give both sainsbury and the credit reference agencies a call.
Was this a defaulted debt, or was this just an active account you have finished repaying.
If it was defaulted, did you get written confirmation they would update your credit file?Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
