Tinted moisturiser or foundation - which do you prefer?

I keep switching to a tinted moisturiser when the weather gets hot but it still slides down my face like foundation does and I still much prefer the look foundation gives me, summer and winter. I only use a light one anyway.

Do you prefer foundation or tinted moisturiser?

I would say it would be more cost effective to buy foundation and mix it with your usual moisturiser to get the consistancy you want, that way you get the right colour and customised coverage, this works very well with matte and high coverage foundations that might be a bit heavy for summer but then you still have the staying power.

I bought Natural Collection tinted moisturiser a couple of days ago and really like it. It does leave me a bit too 'dewy' for my liking so I put some powder over it- I always go shiny faced in summer anyway so a bit of powder is a must.

That said it's obviously very light coverage so not brilliant at covering anything you want to hide :p Good just for evening out skin tone though and very natural looking. Well worth the £1.99 I paid! :j

I'm using nivea tinted moisturizer, I cycle to work every day and I melt under foundation. But this works perfectly and it's cheap.

I use Benefit tinted moisturiser its got SPF in it so good in the heat and gives good but light coverage so good for work and daytime. Its not exactly cheap but lasts ages!

I use spf 50 on my face as soon as it gets hot. If I rememebr correctly it's made by simple. It actually gives a smootehr look to my skin so I either just put powder over the top or a bit of foundation in the eve. I'd prefer full foundation coverage but it's just not practical over factor 50! I'd end up with 2 inches of goop round my chin! I'm very ginger btw so I need the high factor!
