Money Laundering??!

I've just had a look at my credit report. My search history says I've had a recent credit check from GB group plc (ID) and the purpose of this search was money laundering!!!

I haven't applied for any credit in a long time, plus I've never heard of this GB group

Any idea what this could be?

Found this on Google. Could it be the same company: http://www.gb.co.uk/

If it looks like it, you should perhaps contact them and query what they were doing checking your credit file without your permission.

  • Do you/have you recently opened a betting account online? Paddy power checked my details when i opened an account with them - that says 'money laundering' and was a simple ID check - yours seems to be the same....
