these families should be placed in stocks.
this is everything wrong with this country.
the govt should start a swat team that enters these peoples houses and takes every "luxury" item - they then sell them on ebay and the "profit" goes to the tax payer.
I pay taxes for numerous reasons (mainly because i am forced to) and paying to keep dolite scum in branded clothes is not one of them. I would be perfectly happy to see these people starve on the street. lets see if he wouldn't work then.0 -
they also need a database of benefit claimants (except child benefit as everyone gets that) and anyone on it should be refused a credit card.0

I'm a bit shocked tbh. I worked that out at £500 a week and that's without the carers allowance, as someone else said, why did they get that anyway, they're both out of work.
£500 a week! Tax free and then they dare to say that they spend £2000 on the kids at christmas, obviously they are so thick to mention it, that they can't see people would hate that.
And the lady who said "we all have big families round here, don't we" yes, because the rest of us pay for them.
Annoyed.
I've also re-evaluated some of the people that live locally to me, some of them must be on more than we live on, completely on benefits and we have mortgage and council tax to pay that they won't. No wonder they can afford to go to the pub all the time.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
£2000 for Xmas.... on a normal working single person's pay, after paying rent on a hovel and covering basic bills and the cost of getting to work etc, £2000 is probably a whole year's entire "living money, including eating". To see that much squandered annually on tat, for one day, then probably broken/ruined/discarded makes me weep.0

Horse, what opinion, if any, do you hold of the fine people in this article ?

I can just imagine the conversation......it might just get a tad noisy! :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
