Eyes bags ... does anything work!!??

I'm 38 and over the past 18 months I have developed eye bags. Also my eyelids are getting slightly hooded. I've tried most creams and potions; currently using medik8 pretox eyelift for the bags but I don't think it makes any difference and its £30 for 15ml.

Aside from surgery (which I would LOVE to have if I had £3000 as my eyes are the only things that are ageing me really) does anything else work!! Oh and apart from drinking plenty of water.

The problem is I think its a hereditary thing rather than lack of sleep!

Thanks
Eve x

You could try Preparation H ointment. Look for the one that has shark liver oil in the ingredients and only use a small amount.

De Tuinen snail gel (from Holland & Barrett) works for me.

I'll second the snail gel - bought it after lurking on here and its fab, and I've got the biggest inherited eye bags ever!!

But is that only while the gel is on the skin? Is there a noticeable difference when you take the gel off?
I have realised I will never play the Dane! :(

Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!! :p
  • Next time I'm in town, I'll be visiting Holland & Barrett. Thanks for the tip! Have always been a bit scared to use pile cream on my face. Still trying to work up the courage!
From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!

I've used it and it was fine - I don't have bags but I have wrinkles and they were definitely improved the next day.
