Hi All,
Just had an phone call from a company called Sapphire studios in london. Saying ive won a pamper day worth £400. however she asked me for a despoit of £49.00.
the lady told me The reason for the refundable booking fee is to guarantee your attendance since we hire in staff according to the number of clients expected each day.
i asked where id won the comp and she said it could be from various sites as they are running comps on GMTV website, topshop website, rewards today website.
just want to know what you guys think.
she gave me a company reg'd no as 005545615

No, don't do it. These things are a marketing ploy to get you in the studio spending money
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

These are definitely dodgy, if any company asks for money then it isn't a win. They try the really hard sell once there too, I know someone this happened to.
Fingers crossed you'll get a really good 'real' win soon

I too would be reluctant to pay out. unless the terms and conditions of entry mention it.
Depends on whether you want that kind of photo session anyway but they will try to sell you more than you want I would have thought.
shame if it is a genuine win to lose out if its something you want but do your research first xxEleventh Heaven no 710 - we can all dream0 -
