Broken wrist, off work and depressed!!

Well its been a while since I last posted...

On a DMP with payplan since January, all has been going ok, calls have just about stopped until yesterday. Luckily the call was regading my ex so was no need to panic, however I called payplan and found out one of my creditors had rejected my offer of payment (Asset Link), they are also trying to get some kind of notice put on my property to pay them if I ever sell or remortgage! So thats got me down... Payplan seem to think I shouldn't worry, but its hard not to! Does anyone have any experience of this?

To top it all off I broke my wrist a few weeks ago and have been off work for 4 weeks which is so boring and depressing! Luckily I am paid for sick for my main job just can't do my second job (which is fine really as I can't spend anything anyway!)

Whats got me down even more, is I got asked to go on holiday with a friend to florida, but because of my debt I have had to turn it down

Do things get better????? I will be on a DMP for many years (unless my circumstances change!) It was a real relief to get things sorted at the beginning of the year but feel like the tunnel is getting longer! I am sure there are many of you in similar situations - let me know how you get through the hard times...

    Aww

Sorry, I dont really know that much about DMPs, but just wanted to send you a hug :)

Dont suppose you have any bank charges to claim back, only that could take a bit of the time off the end if you had some money coming in from there??
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • Thanks for that, it is probably something I could look into... I have been bad on keeping bank statements as I don't use account anymore but did get myself in a pickle a year or to ago!
