Anyone Need Flip Flops?

woo i got mine today, yay!

I'm gonna go for a wicker basket aswell franny.

I've got one coming in the post from another bride on YAYW that she used for her confetti cones. I think it may be too small though now ive seen all my flip flops so if its no good, ill use it for my confetti cones aswell!

I feel a trip to ikea coming on!

Hehe I was thinking I might need to go to Ikea too! If I can't find a big enough basket I may get a box from work and wrap it in nice paper, but only if it doesn't look too naff!

Got my wicker basket today at a 'home ware' place, (not a chain) for £4.99 and currently stitching three flowery tea towels together (from charity shop = £2) to line it!!

I've made my flip flop basket, not the best picture but looks sweet in RL


ETA after I posted this, I sewed the fabric onto the wicker basket for a more finished result!

That looks great Franny! Are you going to take the plastic hold-them-together thingies off them? Just thinking about having them scattered all over the dance floor! :eek:

I'm taking the plastic thingies and the elastic off mine and tying them together with bright ribbons.

Not sure, was going to leave them on, so people knew they were new Was guessing people would chuck the 'bits' back in the basket!

Thanks for comment about chair, my best MSE bargain ever! Reduced from £1250 to £300 and got them to knock a further £50 off if I took it there and then!

Im gonna look for a basket now too. Im gonna take the plastic bits off but leave the cord that ties them together. Im then gonna get some ribbon to tie them in a bow one on top of the other if that makes sense? and on the ribbon put a tag with what size they are as its not very clear.
