baliff letter

Hi my partner got a baliff letter sent to the wrong address yesterday..luckily we were given it be the person who received it!1

It is for an old CCj we missed last months payment.

The letter said advising a PRE BALIFF VISIT ETC WARNING, my partner phoned the number up of the baliff and she agreed to wait for the charge payment until the 4th July (as this i when we can pay it) and then we could continue as normal with the monthly payments.

ISN'T £122 A LITTLE EXCESIVE FOR A PRE BALIFF VISIT letter..does this not imply the baliff has not yet visited? WHY WAS IS COMPLETELY ADDRESSED WRONG?

I thought 1st baliff letters were £11.20..this is just for a ccj, not council tax a parking fine.

URGENT PLEASE!!!

help please!!

i don't think real county court bailiffs are allowed to charge fees like that.

    sounds very very dodgy

has their been a warent of execution issued by the court?
