whats wrong with my sonicare elite, please?

Hi can anyone help?
Ive had my sonicare elite toothbrush for about 2 or 3 years and I love it. But its just sort of stopped working properly and I dont know why..

Its the charging thats the problem. It now seems to need all night and day to charge , for just one two-minute brushing session, then its back to the light flashing saying that its low.
If it doesnt go on charge the whole night it doesnt work and cuts out. Generally the power in it seems 50% weaker overall.
Ive cleaned it out and had new brush heads etc.

Should I just accept that Ive had it a few years and thats that, get another one?

sounds like the charger, or the battery's "worn out" and can not hold a charge

have a look to see if you can replace the battery

if not its a new unit
