Baliffs letter something fishy?

Any advice would be welcomed!
My partner has been paying £10 to Howard Cohen solicitors regards to a ccj.
He forgot to pay last months installment ( i know silly him) but the issue is that he got a hand written address baliffs letter, which was sent to the incorrect address (a friend of ours address as my partner has some things sent there, as we have lost post issues sometimes)
The address was the first line of our actual address and the second line reffered to our friends!
MY MAIN CONCERN IS Howard Cohen's correspondance goes to and always has to the home address so where did they get these details, also when my partner phoned up the baliff, the letter stated PRE BALIFF VISIT but on the telelphone she said we had to pay £122 for attendance fees (letter was as siad before PRE BALIFF VISIT) so attendance fees must be wrong? she has given us 2 weeks to pay this, and then said it will be back to normal of paying £10 a month!! (as easy as that)
Should i be wary of this and what should i do? Am going to phone Howard Cohen later after work also to quiery this!
any adviceASAP welcomed.
thanks in advance!!

Hi
Herbie 21 is the bailiff experert on theses forums, might be worth while dropping her a PM before you hand over any hard earned cashFind out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
Hi
bailiffs cannot charge for pre bailiff visits.
They can charge a fee for the first bailiff visit which is £24.50.
Definately get hold of Herbie21.The person who has not made a mistake, has made nothing0
