They do exist, but they are pricey. An example is the Panasonic DMR-EX85EB:

It has a DVB-T tuner, 250GB HDD and DVD Recording capability, but it's £400.

EDIT: Just noticed there is the old model DMR-EX75, which has a 160GB HDD, but its still £350:

Bit steep, I bought a media center for £270 which does the same, connected to my TV in lounge, and it has manymore features. Pretty expensive I would say.

I tried to get the 160GB one from ALDI, but everywhere near me must have sold out immediately.

I have the Liteon 5025 and it does play divx and its whisper quiet what are you on about?

I noticed on Price Drop TV the other day (which I usually try not to watch!) there was an Eltax DVD recorder with 160GB HDD that went down to about £149. I think it's an item that's on fairly regularly and probably for around the same price.
