At 12 he is really too old for 'practice' as such, hes had years of it and its still scruffy! This thread just made me wonder if some nice paper might help, as I remember I loved writing on thick 'creamy' paper when i was young, and I tended to make an extra effort when I used nice paper!
Have you tried him with a proper fountain pen?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Definitely go for Conquerer, they do a nice creamy shade that we use for Consultation Reports, they look very professional.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
