Freezing scrambled egg?

Can it be done?

I fancy having scrambled egg for breakfast sometimes but I'm a bit lazy about getting up early enough to cook anything properly. Can I cook it up and put it in portion sizes in the freezer?

  • Not and keep it edible........anyway you can nuke scrambled eggs in about 90 seconds in the microwave, frozen would take about twice that so your not exactly saving much time.
  • I would agree, much easier and quicker to make in microwave. Scrambled eggs & toast in 2 mins. Perfect!

I'm guessing you've never tasted the scrambled egg they have in those 'breakfast' ready meals? :D You'd be better off eating your slipper. Just chuck it in the microwave and you can faff about getting your things together while that and the toast is cooking - give it a week and you'll be fully synchronised!
