    Ah it is registered property.

    Nobody has told the Land Registry that dad has died.

    I would think that all you have to do it go and see a Land Registry office or phone up your one and ask for the appropriate form to complete; Fill it in and send it with the fee and a copy of the letters of administration.
    Job Done - At least that is all my sister and I had to do in 2005, when our mother died, thus relinquishing her half of the family home.

    [Restriction 2 just means that the legal owners all have to agree to the sale of the property]
