AOL Broadband

Trying to save money on my SOA i looked around for cheaper Broadband and found AOL charge me 17.99 and new customers 14.99. This is not an introductory deal anymore. So a new member will pay 3 quid less than me per month for an old customer.
I pointed out this is poor customer service and they finally said if i signed for another 12 months then they will put me on 14.99 month . Great says i thats nearly 40 quid saved for the year.
But it gets better - they are also sending me the free router that they give new customers. As ive got one this one can go on ebay for about 40 or maybe 50 quid ! Thanks AOL ! Nearly 90 quid cheaper this year.
But why dont they do this anyway ! Why always do we have to ask for it !?
