I am currently 'stuck' with LloydsTSB home insurance. As I'm bankrupt I cannot find an insurer who will allow me to have a policy paying by monthly installments.
I was really happy with a quote from the Coop but they declined me as I was bankrupt.
My question is..
Are they declining me as I am now a bankrupt (i.e. will I have a better chance after AD?)
or
Are they declining me because I have bankruptcy on my file and will continue to struggle with being accepted for installments for another 5 years?
Your feedback is very much appreciated as always.

Is it just for contents? or for buildings as well?:pB&SC No. 298

Just for contents dojo. I am not covered for accidental as LloydsTSB wanted £43 a month for it. i can get contents with accidental else where for about £20 but can't afford the couple of hundred up front.0

Right, hope you get something sorted soon, I never had a problem with the gocompare site, gave me about 8 possible quotes and was still able to pay by instalments, wonder if they are tightening up on BR`s ?:pB&SC No. 298

Stop using banks for Insurance.....lol
I wouldn't do my banking at an Insurance Company.....lol
Try ringing a local Insurance Broker, they will be able to advise you correctly, as long as you declare BR to them.
The premium will probabley be under £250, so no credit check will probabley take place for the monthly instalments.
Stick Local and save the local Insurance Brokers !!!!I'm no expert, but i'll give you my opinion, my support and my experience. Its all i have.

I wouldn't know where to find a local broker, used to be one where my mam lives but not there anymore. If I look in town i'm sure i'd find one. Thank you Falze Curly said you would help.
