Working for a comapany on a self employed basis.

Im interested to know how these work.
I have seen a job advertised which involves packing food products from home, but on a self employed basis. The job description says 'the company has given an assurance that this vacancy enables workers to achieve a wage equivalent to the National Minimum Wage rate.' How does this work, i presume i have to pay my own NI contributions?
Thanks.

You'd be responsible for everything, NI, tax, self assessment........
no holiday pay, etc, etc, etc.

The HMRC decides who can be self employed not the employer.

You need to check with HMRC
