Loan advice
Hi,
Looking to take out a loan for debt consolidation, getting him with silly apr on credit cards etc. My bank (HSBC) only offer 5 years repayments which i cant afford. Thinking of using sainsbury's bank for a 7yrs one (i know this will increase the amount owed and interest). My query being am i more likely to be accepted by HSBC as that "my bank" - have been there 22 years or does that not come into account. Had my grad loan with them and no issues with repayment probs.
Cahoot have also just withdrawn my overdraft facility of £300 which means im now over it - presumably this will count against me - there have been no charges added to the debt yet as they wrote to tell me they were going to do it, to give me time to pay it back pre charges.
