Just a quick heads up for anyone who uses Meir Park Tesco, they have new policy where they will not accept any internet coupons at all according to duty manager, needless to say they had to put back £50 of our shopping back on the shelves.

Thanks for the info....popped into the nearby Extra last week as wanted to pop into Next...asked policy at CS ,I was told only if they have a 'tick'...went to my local T's, no probs at all....

Just a footnote re using my T vouchers towards my holiday, this might be of interest....confirmation came yesterday and I have been charged the internet price, which has a discount of £100 pp...I booked via the telephone and pressed the correct buttons to confirm using T vouchers, and was told I have to send them in within a week as per norm, but before, the price was always more than the internet price....I thought it was a good deal!!!

OMG - I'm so angry

Just been Asda, overcharged by 8p on Cottage Cheese, c/s told me not having giftcard for £2 as little amount and their discretion; called a manager from George who said it had stopped a year ago. Took names and h/o number and as i was going he said in a sarcastic manner "did you get your 8p?".

Well i couldnt get home fast enough, i was blowing my top, been on the blower to h/o who advised me i was mis-informed and apoligised, arranging a signed letter of apology from the rude staff which i will pick up next Thursday.

Seems like Tesco's are clamping down/going back to their stroppy manager old ways concerning internet coupons, even safe coupons. One of my stores changed their policy to only one internet coupon per shop. The store was very quiet, but I made them busy by leaving my £60 worth of shopping and letting them put it all back:D

I have told them to keep the item if they won't accept a coupon but never brave enough to tell them to stick the whole lot.

Last week in one Tesco they would not take the 3 Doritos coupons, said they don't take internet ones. The SA called the CS manager who confirmed they don't accept internet coupons so I made her take the Doritos off my bill (which was only about £10). So I paid and started to walk away.

The CS manager stood there with the Doritos in her hand and decided to change her mind and said that I can use the coupons after all. I told her to keep them, she is not messing me around. She just stared as I walked out.

Obviously this trick has worked on other people and they have bought the items anyway, so at least it taught her a lesson.

Well done for being so brave you two.
