Mortgage ending

My current mortgage deal expires in August and I only have about 16k left ,and 7 years on the mortgage. As it is such a small amount, does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do i.e. should I re-mortgage or get a loan, or use credit card etc.?
Thanks

Any personal loan will be higher interest rates. A CC isn't a good idea as the interest rates after any promotional deal ends will be much higher too. I'd be inclined to stay on the SVR for a while and overpay.

    - who is the lender?
    - what's their SVR?
    - how much a month can you afford to pay?

(I suspect Andy's suggestion will prove right).

Find out first what remortgage options are open to you. It's usually the cheapest way to borrow money.

Do you have the 16K to pay it off? if you do, do you want to ?
