  • I ordered something from Studio last christmas... had to return it, but lo and behold waited four months for them to deign to collect it, all the while they were sending me debt letters and referred me to their credit collection agency - despite me constantly battling with their expensive customer service line, on hold for ten to twenty minutes at a time, to try and tell them they were meant to be collecting the item, so why were they adding late charges and collection agency fees?!

Customer service at studio were the most inept, rude and unhelpful people I have ever dealt with in my life - I think they get special training in how to be so terrible! Either that or the amount of practice they get dealing with irate customers has made them immune to complaints/pleading/reasoning (tried 'em all!)!

Anyway - I don't care how cheap something is, if it's not right for what I order it for, I expect to be able to return it easily and hassle free... At the very least I expect the company departments to liaise with each other so I don't get referred to debt collection because of their ineptitude! Or at least listen to me when I call to try and get it cleared up at god knows how much per minute! I will NEVER order from Studio or any company affiliated with them ever again - time is also money and they wasted so much of mine that it's just not good money-saving to risk buying anything from them!

I have had nothing but good service from them.
A picture I bought recently was broken when delivered, they refunded me and then sent me a new one with no problems.
I also forgot to pay them once and they put a charge on my account, i phoned to say I had totally forgot to pay and they took the charge off as a goodwill gesture.

I've only ever placed one order with them and everything was fine.
Going to place another order and try using the 024 code - although might try it in my husband's name (if it is for new customers only)
We're all pawns in the game of life!!

Hi I used the 25% code on my last order but it didnt work - I am not sure if this is because I am an existing customer or because all the items that I purchased were reduced already.

Sorry I cannot be of more help

Yeah, I fell for this one a bit back. I used the 25% off code when I placed my 1st order and it did not work = I'm guessing this is a restricuted code for certain people or something?

I did find another one that appears to work for all new customers (during my trawling at the time) which is a 10% discount on 1st orders. It's mentioned at http://www.somucheasier.co.uk/promotions.html and some other places like Hot Deals and other posts on MSE too I think. The code is 019 for 10% discount.

Hi, has anyone got a current ace or Studio Xmas catalogue I can use, please? I've requested one over a week ago but it hasn't arrived. Hmm, a sign of things to come? The prices are so good and I'm facing an expensive Christmas with lots of family over from overseas in addition to the huge family here so I'll need every penny I can save!

If you can send one, then please PM me.

    :-)

The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.
  • This is a credit company who sign up customers by getting them to buy cheap junk, then when you ask to close the account, they say they have (3 times) but they carry on charging -for nothing! But it says they can in the small print!
