~~**Hot and Sticky Hump Day**~~

Sorry,
Having decided on the title it now looks mildly pornographic!!:o

I am awake (because it is hot and sticky).

Today I will benefit from one of the pluses of being unemployed. There aren't many but having my teeth done for free is one.

Today I'm working on Plan B
1. Get completed form for Masters in Housing into Northumbria University
2. Apply for a Career Development Loan
3. Speak to my friend about letting my house out.

Need at least one plan in place - starting to twitch  (not really appropriate smilie!)

Have a lovely day folks, and don't forget your sun cream.

    Morning Butti-
Here I was thinking I was the only one up at this time in the morning...

good luck with your plans for today-today I am mostly meeting the day with a smile and PMA. I have learned a valuable lesson on life again (ie. If you can't say anything nice, then dont say it AT ALL) and shall be firmly adhering to it. Remind me ok? lol

You're not alone in that problem Bun.

On Saturday I'm going to have to apologize to someone. Last time I saw him he was trying to buy me a drink and I said 'I don't want a drink from YOU, I want it from someone else'.
Translated that meant I am trying to get off with that man there who is about to buy me a drink. Don't think it quite sounded like that though!

    Morning All

Off to work this morning but will be coming home for the football early afternoon.

Had friends round last night, so it was a late night (for me!) and now am feeling it a bit.

Bun - keep strong with the PMA
Butti - hopefully he won't have taken it the wrong way, and you have been worrying for nothing!

I don't miss waking up on a Saturday morning after a night out and thinking 'did I say anything wrong to anyone last night' lol

Sounds like you suffer from foot in mouth disease Butti, like me! I can always be relied upon to upset someone-'specially if I've been on the pop!
Have left today more or less free for some serious tanning effort before the ball on saturday...have DD at home as she had 5 teeth extracted yesterday,by order of the orthodontist as she has an overcrowding problem, so they suggested she takes today off. May have to take her for a quick cat-cuddle at Cats protection before i can sunbathe though...
Have a good day all...chin up Bun!
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
  • Butti, I LOVE the daily chat title it made me giggle. I'm sure the man in question didn't take it the wrong way.

Bun, work will be fine and you've got the right attitude.

SRM, your poor daughter and enjoy the sun.

I've got a training course today where I'll be 'locked' in a small room trying hard not to yawn!!!

Have a great day everyone and keep smiling. :j:j:j

I think he'll have got the jist from who I was sitting next to by the end of the evening ;) but I just think in retrospect it sounded horrible so I'd just like to say sorry. People often say 'Oh yes but it's just you B' (which somehow doesn't make it any better!)

Anyway I have subsequently written a free report for him on options for relocating his brewery so he shouldn't be too hard on me!!!!

    Good morning

Goodness me everyone was up early this morning :) I managed to drag myself out of bed at 7, (only cause i had to get Nathan up ready for school ) was contemplating going back to bed, but decided to have a quick tidy through, didn't need to do much cause it was done yesterday, just needed to tidy throws on settee's and put hoover around, and put dishes in the dishwasher,

need to get myself dressed and make beds, check Nathans bed too, then i'm going to crack on with some more jewellery making, I've got a pile of card making stuff here too that we bouhgt Nathan when he was interested in making cards, might put all the beads away after a few hours of jewellery and dig that out and see what i can come up with. (may as well use it up) and you never know it may get Nathan interested again.

  • Claire, have you had a look on the special occasions board? As they have lots of 'crafty' thread and my personal fav is cross stitch cafe, I really can't wait to finish this course so I can spend three months finishing some of my semi finished kits.

Sally, glad to hear you're feeling happier.
