Ebay Help!!

Not sure if this is the right forum but the advice in here is always brilliant so here goes!:o
DH & I have used Ebay in the past to buy & sell various bits & bobs on a fairly irregular basis. I had a call from a DCA calling them Justicia something or other saying that Ebay have passed a debt on to them and they wanted £50 and some pence there & then, I was a bit shocked and was bit rude to the girl (much to my shame) and told her to take it up with Ebay and put the phone down. I've then checked on my Ebay account and there are unpaid fee's that have genuinely been overlooked (Don't go on Ebay regularly as too much temptation and have seperare email account for Ebay) the unpaid charges on Ebay are £25.77 which I will be more than glad to pay today and I have sent Ebay a lengthy email today explaining this, but I think that the remainder of the "balance" is made up of the DCA's fees which I have no intention (at the moment anyway!) of paying.
My question being if I just settle this with Ebay will the DCA be able to chase me for their fees and could I get in trouble for this?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I am not entirely sure but perhaps once you pay the bill, you can ask ebay if this is a final settlement of the debt.
Hopefully others will have a better ideaLeason learnt :beer:0 -
