decree debt

Hey All,

Im not sure if anyone can advise as im in Scotland.

My husband had a decree granted against him for Clydesdale Bank Credit Card and has to pay £75 per month.

I have paid these every month and today he received a letter from Marlin Financial Services. . . . saying

We are pleased to advise that we are able to discharge this debt in full by making a significant lower payment than the outstanding balance.

Interest is accruing on this amount at a daily rate of £.67 and the total amount owing to our client is £3***.** We are willing to offer a discount of £3**.** blah blah blah

My query is on the interest, should i still be paying interest? As the judge granted the decree on the balance outstanding at the time??

Thanks
